Maintenace Technician JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Maintenance Technician will be responsible, under the direction of the Maintenance Manager for the overall maintenance of the Hilltop Manor community and all areas as related to the day-to-day operations of the community. Essential duties include but are not limited to:

1. Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting.
2. Repairing and installing structures such as showers, sinks, door / windows, cabinets, wall and building exteriors and make ready units to be sold.
3. Must be able to utilize a ladder to complete plumbing, roof, and window repairs outside, on one- and two-story buildings.
4. Responsible for after hour “On Call” emergency maintenance as required. Scheduling duties are on a rotation basis.
5. Complete preventative maintenance programs as directed by the manager.
6. Responsible for following safety protocol always.

Job Requirements

Maintenance Technician must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees. Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.

Required Documents

Social Security Card, Photo ID, Permanent Residency Documentation, or United States issued Work Visa.

Education / Qualification

High School Diploma, GED or Equivalency 

Additional Requirements

Must always maintain a valid Kansas Driver`s License. If any crew`s driving status changes and the company insurance provider is unable to provide coverage for that person, it will be determined by the employer if the employee`s job position will change or eliminated.
