Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.Job DutiesProcess composite panels and specimens by taking photos and putting final labels on specimens. Responsible for organizing programs for machining. It is crucial that this student has an attention for detail and is organized.Required EducationHigh school diploma or equivalentAdditional Requirements* Must be able to work 20-30 hours per week when classes are in session.* Must be enrolled at Wichita State University full time.* Proficient with computers and Microsoft Suite.* Attention to detail.* Able to work independently with minimal supervision.* Positive Attitude and adaptable.Physical RequirementsAbility to remain in a stationary position.Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators.Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
