In this role, you will provide essential technical support to our engineering department by conducting laboratory tests, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate data collection. You will work in a fast-paced environment where precision, organization, and efficiency are paramount to supporting our engineering operations and maintaining the highest quality standards.Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and testing instruments according to established procedures and specificationsConduct routine tests and measurements on materials, components, and systems, recording all data accurately and systematicallyPerform equipment troubleshooting and identify technical issues, implementing corrective actions or escalating problems as neededPrepare test samples and set up laboratory experiments following detailed protocols and safety guidelinesDocument all test results, observations, and equipment maintenance activitiesEnsure workspace remains organized, clean, and compliant with safety and regulatory standardsAssist in the development and refinement of testing procedures and protocols to improve efficiency and accuracyCollaborate with engineering teams to understand testing requirements and deliver results that support project objectivesPerform preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment to minimize downtime and ensure reliable operationMaintain inventory of laboratory supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as neededQualificationsRequired Experience:4+ years of strong HVAC experience is requiredCertification or Degree in HVAC related fieldProficiency in operating testing equipment and instrumentationStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detailExperience with data collection, recording, and basic data analysis a plusProficiency with computer systemsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to follow technical documentation and standard operating procedures preciselyBasic understanding of electrical and/or mechanical principlesStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Experience:Previous experience working as a laboratory technician or in a similar technical support roleFamiliarity with engineering principles and testing methodologiesKnowledge of quality assurance and quality control standardsExperience with technical reportingAdditional InformationEqual Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans*Bosch adheres to Federal, State, and Local laws regarding drug-testing.
