The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for overseeing the shipment of goods produced and receiving supplies. Load and unload material from delivery trucks. Prepare items for shipment according to customer specifications and delivery dates. Prepare shipping paperwork for both domestic and export orders. Operate tools such as tape measures, micrometers, nibblers, and calipers with precision. Measure materials upon arrival and verify the gauge using a micrometer. Pull and stage materials according to the bill-of-lading. Perform dock audits to ensure correct materials are shipped.
