Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Number of Beds – 3 exam rooms, hot lab, injection room in unit. Number of Staff – Team of 3 staff members, plus 2 full time Nuc Med Techs at Woodlawn campus assist with the call rotation Type of staff: Day shift 7:30 – 4 with rotating call for off hours, 1 weeknight and every 5th weekend Patient Ratios – N/A Type of equipment – Optima 640, GE Infinia, Adac Forte. Doses are unit doses, no compounding on site. EMR – Meditech, Fuji Synapse/PACS Typical Procedures: Cardiac/Stress studies, renal, cerebral viability, HIDA, SPECT, Bone Scan, Shuntogram, Gastric Clearance, Pulmonary, Parathyroid, MUGA, Cisternography ICU, Pediatrics, Trauma, Med-Surg, ER Must Haves: - An Associates Degree - A recent 2 years of Nuclear Med Tech experience in an acute inpatient hospital setting - CNMT or ARRT(N) - BLS Certification Preferred or Nice to Have: - MediTech Experience - Travel Experiencea25371ca-cde7-4fb6-ba87-2cf40b156c8b
