Warehouse Worker

This position involves a balanced combination of warehouse duties and machine operation, each constituting 50% of the role. Comprehensive training for machine operation will be provided on-site.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery as trained on-site.
• Handle materials and inventory accurately and efficiently.
• Load and pick items in accordance with company procedures.
• Utilize forklifts for material handling.
• Maintain production standards and adhere to safety protocols.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with forklift operation.
• Basic understanding of inventory and production processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in machine operation is beneficial.
• Ability to be cross-trained in various operational aspects.

Work Environment

The position offers three shifts: 1st shift from 5 am to 1:30 pm, 2nd shift from 1:30 pm to 9:00 pm with a $0.75 differential, and 3rd shift from 9 pm to 5:30 am with a $1.25 differential. The work environment is within a steel company setting, equipped with modern machinery and tools necessary for efficient warehouse operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
