Construction / Carpentry Laborer - $20+ DOE

Express Employment Professionals in Derby is seeking an experienced Construction/Carpentry Laborer to join a reputable local crew. This is not an entry-level role - we're looking for someone who can step in with confidence, skill, and a strong work ethic.
What You'll Do

• Assist with residential and commercial construction projects
• Build and repair decks, fences, framing, and other carpentry structures
• Work with concrete, including forming, pouring, and finishing
• Safely operate hand tools and power tools
• Support general jobsite tasks as needed

What You Must Bring

• Solid construction and carpentry experience - this role requires proven industry background of at least 3 years
• Strong familiarity with hand tools, concrete work, decks, and fences
• Ability to speak and understand English for safety and communication
• Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work as part of a team
• Willingness to work outdoors and in varying conditions

Pay & Schedule

• $20+ per hour, DOE
• Full-time hours with potential for long-term placement
