Description:

The first step in providing a great dining experience is to have everything you need to do the job fresh & ready to go. Our prep cooks are responsible for executing our signature recipes every day. You will be making everything from dressings, breads, pastas (from scratch), sauces and more. Everything starts with fresh ingredients, then you transform them!

Prep Cook Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all sauces, veggies, breads etc. according to recipe and in a timely manner
  • Participate in stocking and rotating of all products to ensure freshness and following health & safety guidelines
  • Communicate with chef and coworkers to ensure a productive & smooth work environment
  • Work with chef and kitchen manager to identify priorities on prep shifts to ensure all members of the team are working towards a common goal of fresh, properly made items
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work station
  • Participate in cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, equipment and floors
  • Help with maintaining a clean and sanitary dish area
Other responsibilities & Requirements:
  • Help dishwasher clean and sanitize all prep items and utensils
  • Take out trash
  • Help Line Cooks restock stations
  • Help to maintain overall kitchen cleanliness & sanitation
  • Requirements:
  • Open availability
  • Basic knife skills
  • Knowledge of basic cooking equipment
