divh2Assembly Technician/h2pJoin our team as an Assembly Technician, where you will work on the 2nd shift from 2pm to 12:30am, Monday through Thursday, with overtime opportunities on Fridays and potentially on Saturdays. You will be responsible for assembling, modifying, and installing aircraft components, sub-assemblies, and structural assemblies according to customer specifications. Your role will include identifying nonconforming parts and ensuring quality throughout the assembly process./ppResponsibilities:/pulliWork with blueprints, specifications, and work orders to assemble components meeting quality requirements./liliGather and complete required data to facilitate assembly progress./liliSet up and operate various shop equipment, such as squeezes, precision measuring tools, drill motors, and countersink cutters./liliTroubleshoot problems during assembly and continuously seek process improvements./liliPerform required rework or changes during the assembly process./liliAssemble major components of sub-assemblies, major assemblies, and smaller bench work assemblies./liliMove and obtain correct parts, materials, tools, and assemblies as needed./li/ulpEssential Skills:/pulliHigh school diploma or GED, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience./liliSix months of vocational training preferred./liliProficiency with forklifts, drill presses, floor-mounted rivet presses, and overhead cranes./liliTime management skills./liliAbility to interpret blueprints./liliEffective verbal communication regarding work processes./liliAbility to write and record process information./li/ulpAdditional Skills Qualifications:/pulliExperience with sheet metal, complex assembly, and structures mechanic work./liliFive years of experience in complex assembly and structures./liliPrevious experience with Spirit, Boeing, Textron, or Cessna preferred./li/ul/div
