Inventory Analyst I

Starting Hourly Wage: $17.20

Hours: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM

Job Purpose

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for data entry and maintaining records of daily inventory activities and transactions. This position also keeps up with system verifications physical records accuracy.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Adheres to company policies and presents a professional, positive attitude at all times.

  • Maintain warehouse accuracies through inventory verification and cycle counting and related system transactions.
  • Daily data entry and verification of work order process.
  • Routinely audit inventory transactions along with data entry of those transactions and report any discrepancies.
  • Provide inventory support and functions for other departments as required.
  • Maintain, support and process employee and internal product use requests and associated inventory transactions and documentation.
  • Maintain and provide information and updates to company project reports as needed.
  • Physical inventory and audit functions as required.
  • Maintain department records, files and reports in an organized manner.
  • Maintain the requirements of the production use totes and any associated documents.
  • Help facilitate the plan, preparation, and execution of the end of the year inventory audit.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Must follow strict safety rules.
  • Other duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office programs and applications required.
  • Experience in inventory operations and systems, warehouse and material handling, data entry/data base and report generation, filing, documentation control, and organization experience strongly preferred.
  • Prior forklift, experience, certifications, and/or documented training preferred.
