Inspector - Fabrication/Assembly I4 (M13BI4)

Pay Rate: $41/hr - $44/r

Location: Wichita, KS

Responsibilities

M13 Level B

  • Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals and specifications, shop mathematics precision measuring instruments, specialized inspection machines, tools and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments
  • Experience working with Quality Management System Policies and Procedures
  • Working knowledge of Company Policies, Procedures and Specifications
  • Overall working knowledge of production processes
  • Good communication skills written and verbal
  • Good computing skills
  • Maintain certifications as required
  • Follow Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes/parts/assemblies
  • Verify that tools are qualified
  • Prepare and maintain Quality records
  • Work across equivalent or lower-level Inspector job codes as required
Qualifications Required:
  • Prompt and on time daily
  • Ability to obtain all required training certifications and maintain certifications while on assignment
  • Must be available to work any shift- 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd shift operations
  • Available for periods of heavy overtime
  • 5 years' experience in aerospace airframe assembly inspection
  • Blueprint reading experience
  • MS Office and SAP experience
  • Experience writing NCRs (Tags)
Preferred:
  • SAP experience
  • Previous Spirit or Boeing experience
  • Boeing 737 Airframe/Fuselage Experience

Description :

Level B

1. Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals and specifications, shop mathematics precision measuring instruments, specialized inspection machines, tools and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments.

2. Experience working with Quality Management System Policies and Procedures

3. Working knowledge of Company Policies, Procedures and Specifications

4. Overall working knowledge of production processes

5. Contact other company organizations or customer representatives, as required to coordinate and accomplish work assignments.

6. Good communication skills " written and verbal

7. Good computing skills

8. Operate testing machines, calculate and record results

9. Maintain certifications as required

10. Plan own sequence of operations

11. Follow Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes/parts/assemblies

12. Verify that tools are qualified13. Prepare and maintain Quality records

14. Work across equivalent or lower level Inspector job codes as required

15. Cross-train in equivalent level Assembly, Composite, Metals, Process and Systems/Payload Structures Mechanic classifications
