Install, maintain, configure, support, and operate the enterprise monitoring tools to monitor the operations of the client's two data centers, remote offices, and workstations. ITS currently uses SolarWinds and Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) as its enterprise monitoring tools.
Provide equivalent support services for the new enterprise monitoring solution if change to a different enterprise monitoring solution.
Adhere to all provisions of the Ancillary Support Services Task and the Project Management Task
Install, configure, administer, and maintain monitoring tools to the latest commercially available release within two weeks of release of updates by the tool manufacturer.
Operate and manage the enterprise monitoring tools to ensure that system performance meets metrics set
Proactively monitor manufacturer and security guidance on a quarterly basis, including guidance from CISA, to ensure that the enterprise monitoring tool environment is configured and continuously updated to meet the latest security configuration standards
Support and maintain the enterprise monitoring tool integration to the ITSM Platform. This activity includes verifying that the ITSM Service Account has access to the Solar- Winds Monitoring Tool
Create enterprise monitoring tool dashboards/map views for business applications or system to display system performance information and SSL Certificate Expiration
Add or remove nodes on enterprise monitoring tools by correctly following SOP
Create, update, maintain, or remove process maps and diagrams by correctly following procedures in an existing SOP.
Manage access to business application dashboard by responding to service catalog requests (ServiceNow) to add or remove user or AD groups
Create, manage, update/modify Enterprise Monitoring Alert Types to ensure that alerts are configured to notify the Ops Center when devices and supporting services are not up, running, or meeting operational thresholds defined under client policies and procedures
Adopt and update a Business Application Portfolio Dash- board, which provides an overview of the health of critical client business applications. The dashboards monitor servers, performance alerts, critical services, web access, and SSL certificates.
Adopt and update architecture and technical diagrams.
Adopt and update recovery and restoration documents.
Create and store knowledge based articles in the Information Technology Ser- vice Management (ITSM) platform (currently ServiceNow).
Coordinate and perform a review every 6 months, provide feedback, and update the roadmap for all areas within the scope of this contract
Prepare and deliver recovery and restoration documents
Key Skills
Minimum qualifications: Five (5) years SolarWinds implementation and development experience.
Experience working with enterprise monitoring tools to monitor the operations of the data centers, remote offices, workstations, etc.
Ability to create, manage, update/modify maintain Enterprise Monitoring Tool Reports.
