Description:

Trigo is seeking a Part Time Traveling Quality Inspector in the Wichita, KS area.

Pay is $18hr. and 1st shift

**MUST BE BASED NEAR OR AROUND Wichita, KS.**

  • Overall Purpose

    The Traveling Quality Inspector is a vital part of the first line of defense to keep the assembly process running smoothly. Ability to travel on a flexible schedule as needed with variable lengths of time and distances.

  • May Report to

    Site Manager

    Responsibilities

    Operations • Check/inspect manufactured parts or products for defects • Read and follow work instructions and general processes • Use measuring or testing equipment as needed • Ensure products meet quality standards • Bring parts into compliance by de-burring, de-rusting, grinding, etc. • Utilize gages and other measurement tools • Display excellent customer service • Must comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies Organization & Management • Collect and record data Technical • Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements Other • Any other duties as assigned

  • Must be able to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and/or sanders to repair and/or clean parts and/or sub-assemblies
  • Must be able to read basic blueprints to determine tolerance of parts and/or sub-assemblies
  • In proximity to moving, mechanical parts and machinery
