As the HR Specialist (Payroll) you will be responsible for adding significant value to the business by assessing and anticipating needs and communicating proactively within the HR department and leadership.

  • Administration of payroll and other human resources processes
  • Investigate and provide resolution for payroll concerns
  • Track and monitor approval of wage changes
  • Track and monitor completion of Associate Care Program requests
  • Answer unemployment claims and provide necessary documentation
  • HRIS associate employment changes and general updates
  • Process manual timesheet adjustments and all types of pay, PTO, timekeeping audits and employee relations
  • Participate and occasionally lead HR trainings

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience within Human Resources
  • Solid communication skills to effectively deal with various levels of management, staff and/or outside contacts
  • Ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a professional and positive manner
  • Strong organizational and detail orientation including balancing multiple tasks
  • Proven ability to maintain a high-level of confidentiality concerning employees, business or sensitive data
