What You'll Do:
+ Provide customer service to individuals entering or exiting the location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
+ Monitor access control at the front desk, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site guidelines.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Assist with visitor management, including logging visitors and/or vendors and issuing badges in accordance with site requirements.
+ Communicate professionally with staff, patients, and visitors to address questions and/or concerns related to security-related matters.
+ Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership, maintaining composure in urgent situations.
+ Document and report security-related incidents and/or unusual activities observed at the front desk, following company and site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
+ COVID-19 vaccination is required for employment at this hospital site.
+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
