Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team in the afternoons/ evenings. The Dishwasher will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using dishwashing machines or manual methods.
• Is responsible for stocking and storing deliveries correctly using the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including emptying trash.
• Ensure that all dishes and utensils are cleaned to the highest standards and are free of grease and food residues.
• Assist with the organization and storage of clean dishes and kitchen equipment.
• Follow proper sanitation and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Assist with basic kitchen tasks as needed, including food prep, stocking supplies, and cleaning kitchen surfaces.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the Kitchen Manager or Supervisor.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations and support the overall team.

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to lift 15-20 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
