Key Responsibilities

• We're looking for a Bridge Engineer to join our Transportation team in Wichita.
• You'll help design and support various bridge and transportation projects, including new structures, rehabilitations, inspections, and related designs such as retaining walls, sound walls, and traffic control plans.
• Assist in the design and production of DOT, turnpike, county, and municipal projects.
• Support the Project Manager in all phases of bridge design and production.
• Provide guidance and support to design and production staff.
• Help prepare proposals, presentations, and client interviews.
• Attend client meetings to ensure project goals are met.

• B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 1-5+ years of experience in transportation or bridge design projects (DOT, municipal, or county).
• Knowledge of bridge design, roadway design, and hydraulics.
• Experience with Civil 3D or MicroStation (OpenRoads, InRoads, or Geopak).
• Experience with MDX or LEAP Bridge preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• PE license in Kansas preferred (or ability to obtain soon).
• Familiarity with local standards and requirements preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks effectively.
