The Substance Abuse Center of Kansas is hiring a part time detox technician in Wichita, KS. 1st shift weekends-Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 7:30am-4:00pm. Duties include completing intakes, discharges, discharge planning, taking vitals, and documenting withdrawal symptoms. Applicants must pass a criminal background check as well as child abuse registry check and pre-employment drug test. Must be proficient in the use of computer applications and enjoy working with people. We are a 24-hour facility, so attendance is critical and mandatory. Starting pay is $12.50 an hour.

You can't be on probation, parole, or corrections. You must pass a drug test and obtain a negative TB skin test.
