Who We Need

The Office Administrator is a key customer service and administrative member of our local operations team. The position will be the first impression many community members will have of The Car Park in Wichita. The position will organize and coordinate office administration and procedures to ensure effectiveness, efficiency, and safety. The position is responsible for developing intra-office communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures, inventory control, and customer service.

  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the office as the main point of contact in the reception area, keeping management informed of performance with routine and requested reporting.
  • Coordinate and educate the public on the adjudication process for parking violations
  • Manage access and changes for monthly parking requests
  • Coordinate with management and officials for information needed to meet customer requests
  • Maintain office efficiency by maintaining the appearance of common areas, organizing procedures, handling correspondence, managing filing systems, and overseeing supplies and equipment.
  • Provide direct administrative support as needed, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and events, booking travel, maintaining filing system, mailing, and shipping packages, and updating contact database and employee list.
  • Manage all aspects of the office space/infrastructure planning (moves, adds, and changes to workstations) and provide answers, resources, and solutions as requested.

Ideal Candidate Skills

  • Strong time-management and people skills, flexibility, and multitasking ability
  • Advanced computer skills and experience with online platforms
  • Proficiency Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of supervisory best practices.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in office management.
