The Communications Specialist creates and executes communication strategies to promote Textron Aviation's products and services. This includes working closely with senior leaders to develop key communications plans and materials for both external and internal audiences to keep them apprised of the company's products and its position within the market through a range of communication mediums. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan and execute external communications and public relations activities, such as news releases, media events, interview preparation and execution, and news dissemination. This may include travel to key domestic and international tradeshows and other venues involving media and company executives. Establish effective relationships with key members of the media and serve as an official company spokesperson with responsibility for developing media relations strategies for local, trade, business, consumer and international media.
