PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a driven Avionics/Electronics Technician to join a cutting-edge aviation team in Wichita, KS. Your Role at a Glance
As an Avionics/Electronics Technician, your expertise ensures the performance, safety, and integrity of advanced aircraft systems. You'll work on-site and occasionally off-site, collaborating with engineers and maintenance professionals to solve real-time challenges and bring cutting-edge aircraft to peak condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, inspect, adjust, repair, and replace avionics/electrical components with and without aircraft power applied
Interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to perform installations and modifications
Perform inspections and maintenance in accordance with FAA/JAA regulations and company procedures
Remove, install, and re-install aircraft components and systems as needed
Fabricate and install parts or wiring harnesses per engineering specifications
Assist in engine installation/removal, fueling operations, and component-level repairs
Accurately document all work performed in compliance with inspection procedures
Support complex repair activities both on-site and at field locations
What You Bring to the Team
Required:
7 years Avionics experience
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering and repair documents
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Willingness to support both hangar and field operations, including occasional travel
Preferred:
Experience with business or commercial jet platforms
Familiarity with FAA maintenance documentation and compliance procedures
Strong collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous learning

Pay Details: $28.00 to $40.00 per hour
