PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a driven Avionics/Electronics Technician to join a cutting-edge aviation team in Wichita, KS. Your Role at a Glance

As an Avionics/Electronics Technician, your expertise ensures the performance, safety, and integrity of advanced aircraft systems. You'll work on-site and occasionally off-site, collaborating with engineers and maintenance professionals to solve real-time challenges and bring cutting-edge aircraft to peak condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, inspect, adjust, repair, and replace avionics/electrical components with and without aircraft power applied

• Interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to perform installations and modifications

• Perform inspections and maintenance in accordance with FAA/JAA regulations and company procedures

• Remove, install, and re-install aircraft components and systems as needed

• Fabricate and install parts or wiring harnesses per engineering specifications

• Assist in engine installation/removal, fueling operations, and component-level repairs

• Accurately document all work performed in compliance with inspection procedures

• Support complex repair activities both on-site and at field locations

What You Bring to the Team

Required:

• 7 years Avionics experience

• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering and repair documents

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Willingness to support both hangar and field operations, including occasional travel

Preferred:

• Experience with business or commercial jet platforms

• Familiarity with FAA maintenance documentation and compliance procedures

• Strong collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous learning

Pay Details: $28.00 to $40.00 per hour
