JOB SUMMARY:

This role supports the Flight Operation Departments at Textron Aviation, including Demonstration, Production Flight Test, and Pro-Ownership.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Maintain familiarity with all applicable FAA and ICAO regulations, ensuring compliance with all regulations and local operating procedures.
  2. Maintain thorough knowledge of relevant aircraft models, systems, avionics, equipment, options, and updates.
  3. Attend required training, including initial and recurrent aircraft training, emergency procedures, crew coordination, international procedures, and other relevant training as deemed necessary.
  4. Perform office tasks such as preparing expense reports and flight logs, international planning, updating aircraft flight manuals and approach plates, and other daily flight operation tasks.
  5. Act as a flight and ground instructor for customers transitioning to G1000 and G2000 flight decks and for those in the Single Engine Recurrent Training course.
  6. Conduct exercise flights as needed and shadow flights during sales demonstrations and marketing activities.
  7. Adhere to and support Flight Operations policies, procedures, guidelines, and responsibilities.
  8. Communicate noteworthy issues to department personnel.
  9. Prioritize safety in all operations at all times.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Aviation Science or a related field required.
  2. FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with instrument rating and Single/Multi-Engine Land ratings.
  3. FAA Second Class medical or better, with the ability to obtain an FAA First Class medical.
  4. FAA Flight Instructor Certificate (CFI) and FAA Flight Instructor Instrument Certificate (CFII) required.
  5. 2000 flight hours and 1000 hours of multi-engine time preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. US Passport or the ability to obtain one is required.
  2. FAA Multi-Engine Instructor Rating (MEI) preferred.
  3. FAA Complex and High-performance endorsements preferred.
  4. Previous classroom experience as a ground instructor preferred.
  5. Familiarity with digital/glass flight decks preferred.
  6. Valid driver's license required.
