DIRECTOR OF DINING SERVICES II - K12 FOOD SERVICE POTENTIAL NEW BUSINESS - WICHITA, KS

Join us at Chartwells School Dining Services K12 as the Director of Dining Services II for a potential new K12 food service account in Wichita, KS. This role offers an exciting leadership opportunity to oversee all food service activities, including cafeterias, retail, and catering, ensuring client satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage salaried managers and hourly staff in the Food Service Department
• Coordinate and evaluate the overall account operations
• Hire, train, and supervise staff; handle performance reviews and resolve issues
• Develop and manage the annual budget
• Utilize company systems for reporting on inventory, cash, production, payroll, etc.
• Oversee food preparation and service, adhering to safety standards and portion controls
• Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.S. in Food Services Technology/Management or related field, or A.A. plus four years of relevant experience
• 5-7 years of food service management experience with inventory and purchasing expertise
• Strong knowledge of food trends, sanitation, cost control, and presentation
• Experience with P&L accountability or contract management preferred
• Leadership, communication, and coaching skills
• Financial, budgeting, and computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
• ServSafe Certification
