JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Intern is responsible for meeting Campers at home or another location, taking photos, saving them to the internal network and sharing them on social media as requested.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Promotes brand awareness through marketing efforts.
  • Takes photos of Rainbows' youth at summer events.
  • Creates marketing graphics for social media other marketing platforms.
  • Films and edits video for online use.
  • Supports the Marketing team with marketing activities by demonstrating skills in various areas, including storytelling, advertising, social media, direct marketing, and graphic design.
  • Downloads all photos to Rainbows' internal network.
  • Performs other duties when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Working on Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Digital Communication, or a related field.
  • Basic level Graphic Design knowledge required.
  • Working knowledge of current marketing tools including digital camera and video equipment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Premiere Pro), Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation and auto insurance.
SKILLS:
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative design skills using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Flexible, combining in-office and remote work as scheduled.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.


FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

WORK PACE: Flexible, self-paced, requiring the ability to think and act quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding work environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position operates in a hybrid environment, working 1-2 days per week remotely and 1-2 days per week in a professional office environment, utilizing employer-provided standard office equipment. Primarily M-F day shift, although some evening and weekend work is occasionally required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

May require occasional extended work days. Requires travel between RUI sites and other community agencies..

Sitting: 6 - 7 hours in an 8-hour work shift; may occasionally alternate to standing or walking.

Standing: 1 - 2 hours in an 8-hour work shift. Alternates to sitting on a frequent basis

Walking: 1/2 - 1 hour in an 8-hour work shift.
