Software and/or Airborne Electronic Hardware (AEH) Designated Engineering Representative (DER) who makes compliance findings and represent Textron Aviation as a subject matter expert to certification authorities, suppliers, and industry consortiums in the areas of software and/or AEH approvals supporting aircraft Type Certification for both foreign and domestic certification activities on both 14 CFR Part 23 and 14 CFR Part 25 aircraft. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Author and/or approve software and/or AEH lifecycle data items including Plan for Software and Hardware Aspects of Certification, Software/ Hardware Configuration Index, Software/ Hardware Accomplishment Summary, etc. Lead and/or participate in Stage of Involvement (SOI) reviews and associated documentation.
