Your main responsibilities will include creating a safe and healthy home environment, mentoring the individual, and assisting them with daily living tasks. You'll be actively involved in fostering independence and learning new life skills, tailoring your support based on the individual's specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and budgeting.
• Assist with medication administration and coordinating medical appointments.
• Promote overall health and well-being.
• Document daily activities using our web-based case management application.
• Facilitate fun and engaging experiences that encourage community integration and socialization.
• Follow all state and agency policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure high-quality support.
• Provide necessary transportation.

Additional Responsibilities (Based on Preference):

• Assistance with personal care such as bathing, toileting, and eating.
• Support for complex medical protocols, including seizure management and care for individuals with various physical needs.
• Addressing behavioral support challenges as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be a resident of the state of Kansas.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and current vehicle registration.
• Active home/renter's insurance.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience is preferred but not required.
• Reliable internet access and computer skills.
• Completion of state-mandated trainings.
• Maintain a safe and clean living environment.
• Pass applicable background checks.
