Application Engineer

Description:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversees projects and develops process layouts or schematics.
  • Manages the Engineering Resource Manual (ERM) database.
  • Audits the sales configurator used for equipment quoting and offers recommendations for improvements based on performance evaluations.
  • Works closely with customers and internal teams to ensure equipment aligns with application or process requirements.
  • Designs and maintains tools and materials that support accurate specification of equipment for various applications and systems.
  • Reviews customer orders to verify correct specifications and ensure that equipment and system performance meet expectations.
  • Creates and provides equipment designs and specifications tailored to specific applications for quotes and orders.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Must have bulk material handling experience.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Experience with SolidWorks.
  • Strong communication skills.
