Responsibilities

• Collaborates with customers and departments to ensure equipment meets process requirements
• Develops and maintains tools for proper equipment specification
• Reviews customer orders to verify correct specifications and expected performance
• Designs and specifies equipment for unique applications in quotes and orders.
• Manages projects, process layouts, the Engineering Resource Manual (ERM) database, and audits the Sales configurator for enhancement recommendations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar required
• At least 5 years previous engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Must have experience in Bulk Material Handling, including conveyor/conveying systems
• Previous experience using SolidWorks required
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and processes
