JOB SUMMARY:

This role supports the Flight Operation Departments at Textron Aviation such as Demonstration, Production Flight Test and Pro-Ownership.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintains familiarity with all applicable FAA and ICAO regulations. Complies with all regulations and local operating procedures.
2. Maintain a thorough knowledge of appropriate aircraft models, systems, avionics, equipment, options, product changes and updates.
3. Attends training as required. Training will include: Initial and recurrent aircraft training, emergency procedures training, crew coordination training, international procedures training, and other training as deemed necessary by management.
4. Performs office tasks such as expense report and flight log preparation, international planning, aircraft flight manual and approach plate updates, and other tasks normally associated with day-to-day flight operations.
5. Act as a flight and ground instructor for customers transitioning to G1000 and G2000 flight decks and for customers in the Single Engine Recurrent Training course.
6. Exercise flights when needed and flight shadow through sales demonstration flights and marketing support.
7. Adhere to and support Flight Operations policies, procedures, guidelines and responsibilities.
8. Communicate with and ensure department personnel are aware of noteworthy issues.
9. Maintain safety as the prime consideration for all operations at all times.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

1. Bachelor's degree required in Aviation Science or related degree.
2. FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with instrument rating and Single/Multi-Engine Land ratings.
3. FAA Second Class medical or better, with ability to obtain an FAA First Class medical.
4. FAA Flight Instructor Certificate (CFI) and FAA Flight Instructor Instrument Certificate (CFII) required.
5. 2000 flight hours and 1000 hours of multi-engine time preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. US Passport or ability to successfully obtain is required.
2. FAA Complex and High-performance endorsements preferred.
3. Previous classroom experience as a ground instructor preferred.
4. Familiarity with digital/glass flight decks preferred.
5. Must have a valid driver's license.
