Job Title : Medical Lab Technician Job Location: Kansas Type of Facility : Rural Health Clinic with ED and Lab Length of Assignment : 13 weeks Start Date: Immediately Work Schedule : 12 hour night shifts for 3 nights per week Roles and Responsibilities: - Perform basic laboratory tests and operate chemistry analyzers - Work independently as the sole technician during night shifts - Collaborate closely with ER nurses and technicians - Process and ship information and results to the main hospital - Utilize Meditech EMR system for patient records and test results - Handle an average of 4 patients per night - Adapt to working with patients of various ages Requirements: - ASCP Certification - Basic BLS certification - Minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician - Willingness to undergo 1-2 weeks of day shift training before transitioning to nights Barton Healthcare Staffing is excited to work with you Apply now to learn more about this exciting role.
