Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Onsite Wichita, KS

Position Overview:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for directing a work team in meeting daily production schedules while ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards. This is a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment that requires a hands-on, high-energy leader who thrives on the production floor.
Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, with overtime as required (including weekends).

Key Responsibilities:

• Shop Floor Leadership: Spend 100% of the time on the shop floor, facilitating workflow and ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Team Management: Supervise 25-60 wage employees, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality.
• Process Optimization: Drive key performance metrics in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and efficiency.
• Safety & Compliance: Promote and enforce a safe work environment, ensuring all employees follow company safety policies.
• Operational Problem-Solving: React to production issues, material shortages, and equipment malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Continuous Improvement: Implement LEAN manufacturing tools (VSM, SMED, 5S, TPM, Kaizen) to improve performance.
• Training & Development: Supervise, evaluate, and train team members to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Accurate Reporting: Maintain employee and production records while ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.

Qualifications:
Required:

• Bachelor's degree and minimum of one (1) year experience in manufacturing, OR
• Associate degree and minimum of six (6) years experience in manufacturing, OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Preferred:

• LEAN Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience, utilizing tools like VSM, SMED, 5S, TPM, and Kaizen.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, high-volume environment.
