POSITION TITLE: Children's Attendant Care Worker: FT and PT Opportunities Available
REPORTS TO: Children's Team Lead
POSITION OVERVIEW: As a Children's Attendant Care Worker your responsibility will be to build skills such as problem-solving, social skills, personal relationships, appropriate health and hygiene and communication skills to children with serious emotional, behavioral and/or psychological disorders. You will provide one on one services in their home, community, or school, based on where the child's needs are highest. To ensure needs and goals are being met, collaboration with the child's Case Manager and excellent verbal and written communication are required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Must submit to an annual background check to continually meet KDHE guidelines for staff. The Children's Attendant Care/PRI Worker is expected to have a high school diploma or equivalent. Prefer some post high school education in a social service field or experience working with special populations. Must have strong organizational skills with attention to detail along with effective communications skills both verbally and written and the ability to develop and maintain rapport with consumers, constituents, and staff. In addition, the Children's Attendant Care/PRI Worker is expected to be at least 18 years of age. A valid Kansas drivers license and access to personal vehicle required.
