Title: Production Manager
Location: Onsite Wichita, KS

Overview:
We are seeking a Production Manager to oversee a substantial portion of daily operations in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. This role requires a hands-on leader with a transformational mindset who can drive continuous improvement and employee development while ensuring key business metrics are met.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee Production Supervisors to ensure efficiency, safety, and adherence to production schedules.
• Foster a high-energy, fast-paced work environment with a strong focus on safety, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Develop and mentor future leadership within the production team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S.
• Monitor and manage KPIs and shop floor performance objectives.
• Ensure compliance with ISO-9000 and quality assurance policies.
• Work 80% of the time on the shop floor, ensuring smooth production execution.
• Oversee 2-4 Production Supervisors and manage 75+ employees.
• Weekend work required (8-10 hour shifts, including Saturdays and occasional Sundays).

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a large, high-volume manufacturing environment.

• OR Associate degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in factory operations, process optimization, and team leadership.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Preferred:
  • Experience leading large-scale change initiatives in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.
  • Experience working in a unionized factory environment.
