MRB Engineer Wichita, KS Pay $70 MAX if 10+ years
1. Must have Boeing MRB stamping (approval) experience of at least 2 years or MRB stamping (approval) authority for Airbus for 10 years.
2. Must have more than 5 years with Boeing
3. Must know Boeing Processes
4. Must know how to interpret a stress report

must have Boeing MRB authority past experience or MRB authority current status . Duration of assignment is anticipated to be 12 months +.

  • Interpret engineering documents and conduct technical investigations.
  • Analyze each situation and develop the most cost-effective solution (disposition/repair) in a timely manner.
  • Understand and solve problems related to structure and provide technical support in answering Non-Conformance Reports (Client) raised by Quality Agents.
  • Ensure the conformity of repair schemes and dispositions with engineering requirements and specifications.
  • Support daily production and delivery activities.
  • Participate in projects that will increase our productivity, reduce waste and improve our financial performance.
  • Work closely with other teams such as Systems, Stress, Thermodynamic, Material & Processes, Propulsion, Environmental Control Systems, Logistics, Methods, Quality and Operations to achieve the organization's business objectives.
  • Assist in training of junior Liaison Engineering personnel if required.


YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a Material Review Board (MRB) environment with primary structure repairs.
  • Experience with Boeing aircraft models; if you have worked on the 737, 787, or 777 models (an asset).
  • A desire and/or capability to obtain Engineering MRB delegation after a period of on-the-job training.
  • A deep understanding with metallic and composite aircraft structures.
  • Experience dispositioning non-conformances in aerospace.
  • Be a team player with a collaborative approach.
  • Flexible and comfortable working under pressure with a minimum of supervision.
  • Sound technical judgement and a practical approach.
  • Catia V5 experience.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Wichita (mandatory).
  • Must have U.S. citizenship (mandatory).
